Hari pertama kerjaku di Pusat Bandar Kuala Lumpur

WARNING
: The following post will be in Bahasa Melayu, immigrants, stay away.

Okay i cant take this, its been 6 years since i wrote anything decent in BM, its rusty, totally. So yeah, i woke up and got ready for work. Time was 0645LT, i left home y 0715LT. This was the first time ever im driving to Kepong KL at this hour, and i gotta tell you, the traffic is disasterous. Pure madness, freaking cars are everywhere, and lots of lady drivers, they just dont belong to the road for Christ's sake. Damn Samy. Thanks for the faster route with 3 tolls, thats like friggin RM4.50 - one way only. That i were to use Kesas highway all the way to KL. Im no millionaire, so i chose the classic way, Federal 'jammedfornofuckinreason' Highway.

It took me an hour just to get to Motorola interchage from my hse, which will take only 15 minutes at night, after 10 that is. I was in PJ to fetch BK (not Burger King you dimwits,he's my best friend) at about 0830LT, his work starts at 0900LT, location Maju Holdings, Jln Tunku Abdul Rahman, KL. Guess what, we made it there by 0845, how? I dont know, there roads were super clean, it was like everyones on MC.

Coming back to my story, i got a job in Jln Sultan Ismail, and my office in the Bangla Asian Heritage Row, right opposite The Loft, building is called Heritage House (apparently this is the gempak name, formerly known as Wisma Warisan bwahaha.) So i was there by 0900LT, and my work starts at 1000LT, so i have got an hour to waste, i headed to the mamak nearby after parking my car for RM3.00 (per entry), yes its cheap, considering the prices of parking fee in KL. Buzzed a friend and had a small chat, then it was almost 1000LT, so i headed to the office which is located in floor 12B, technically its the 14h floor. And came my boss, a British guy, quite a young guy actually, he briefed me about the task for the day. So there, i started to work, quite alot of work. Did a flash animation and about 6 templates all together.

And there is this particular broom room in the office, which has a balcony, and the view was simply superb, stunning geometrical objects all around me. Pictures? Allrite, here we go :-

On the left is Maju Holdings and some other unknown buildings, MH is where BK works

Sheraton Imperial's rooftop, with swimming pool, yes.

Sheraton Imperial, right in front of me, that explains the angle of this shot.

Im so lazy to rotate this picture, just tilt your head to the right, yeap its KLCC

Same action required as above, Jln Sultan Ismail.

First day was cool, i had a bit of pressure anyway. But its allright, im loving it . :D
Im actually on a week of trial period, my boss wants to see if im comfortable with web designs, because, all my previous jobs were more towards print designs, so web is something new for me, although i can handle it, but there's a little fear. I believe can manage it though. So after a week of observation, i will know if i really get the job. Pray for me people, its really a good opportunity for me. :)

I was done with work at about 2030LT, and here i am at home blogging about my experience, i dont wanna go into details, it might take forever and im not in the exact mood of typing. Colleagues are nice, very friendly people, only 4 of us including boss and me. Pin drop silent environment, i can hear the CPU's fan. o.O, oh yeah, and i met BK for lunch. This is simply beautiful, what i always wanted, to work in KL. Dream come true? we'll know in a week. Keep the days counting!
